A scheme that will enable the Filipino youth to manage their finances well and build their personal economy at an early age will now be facilitated through an all-in-one ID.

In Quezon City, AdmitAll a user-friendly platform that aims to bridge the gap between schools and students, together with Union Bank of the Philippines, inked a partnership to launch the Smart ID.

The AdmitAll Smart ID functions both as a debit card and university ID card for students.

“The AdmitAll Smart ID is part of our thrust to make Filipino students learn the value of saving and investing in their personal economy even while still in school. With the Smart ID innovation, they can be taught how to manage their finances so students can prepare for an even brighter future,” Christian Schweigler, CEO of AdmitAll said.

Schweigler observed that most Filipino youth still don’t have bank accounts and that the words “savings” and “financial management” are still rare to them.

While some already have bank accounts, Schweigler said it’s either their parents opened one up for them or they earn it during their first employment.

Schweigler aims to change that mindset with the introduction of the AdmitAll Smart ID.

The AdmitAll Smart ID is an EON card from the Union Bank of the Philippines, one of the country’s leading financial institutions.

It allows for personal or school-related purchases with cash less payment of tuition fees and other necessities.

Schweigler noted there is no minimum deposit required as it also comes with PayPal accessibility.

He added that one can load it up just like a normal piggy bank, only electronically, while allowing an individual to track the transactions.

AdmitAll Smart ID also functions as a universal ID.

“Trends and lifestyles have already evolved over the years, coupled with advancements in technology, which necessitated a need for people to know their money and understand their personal economy. With the AdmitAll Smart ID, more students can become aware of the importance of taking care of their money and manage it properly,” Schweigler noted.

To avail of the AdmitAll Smart ID, a student can get one for free if the school he or she is in is an AdmitAll registered partner.

However if this is not the case, interested parties may just go to www.AdmitAll.com website and click the GetSmart ID button.
