Iloilo City – City Hall is regulating the sale of flowers for All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

In an executive order, acting Mayor Jose Espinosa III has directed flower sellers to get a special permit from the Iloilo City Business Permits and Licensing Office.

Vendors with no permits cannot sell flowers between Monday and November 1.

Flower vendors can only sell in designated areas in the city. These are the Iloilo Central Market, Barangay Katilingban in Molo district, Barangay Oñate in Mandurriao district; El 98 Street; Barangay Desamparados and Barangay Semenario in Jaro District, La Paz Market in La Paz district, and Sta. Felomina Street in Arevalo district.

Flower vendors were also asked to follow the “no, smoking, no drinking of alcohol” policies.
