Duterte gets highest satisfaction rating in new SWS survey

By Vanne Elaine Terrazola

President Duterte marked his first year in office with more Filipinos giving him a “very good” and the highest satisfaction rating he has so far received, bared the latest survey by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).

The second quarter SWS survey, conducted June 23 to 26, showed 78 percent of Filipinos satisfied with his performance. Twelve percent were dissatisfied and 10 percent were undecided.

The results yielded a net satisfaction rating of +66 (percentage of those satisfied minus percentage of those who were dissatisfied), which falls under the “very good” classification of the SWS.

This was the highest he has yet received, from his +63 net approval rating last March and in December 2016, and his +64 rating in September last year.

SWS attributes Duterte’s high satisfaction grade to his “excellent” +73 rating in the Visayas (83 percent satisfied, 10 percent dissatisfied), surging by 11 points from +62 in the March survey.

It also rose but stayed “very good” in balance Luzon with +58 (73 percent satisfied, 15 percent dissatisfied) from the first quarter’s +51.

The increases offset the 12-point downgrade in the net rating in his bailiwick Mindanao — although staying “excellent” — to +75 (83 percent satisfied, eight percent dissatisfied) from the +87 recorded in March.

In Metro Manila, Duterte also kept his “very good” rating despite a slight decline to +63 (77 percent satisfied, 13 percent dissatisfied) from +64.

The Chief Executive, across socioeconomic classes, also received “very good” ratings. Highest was from the poorest class E at +67, rising from the first quarter’s +60.

Class D, or the “masa,” followed with a +66 rating, while lowest was from class ABC respondents who yielded a net satisfaction rating of +59.

Satisfaction ratings of at least +70 were classified as “excellent”; +50 to +69 as “very good”; +30 to +49, “good”; +10 to +29, “moderate”; +9 to -9, “neutral”; -10 to -29, “poor”; -30 to -49, “bad”; -50 to -69, “very bad”; and -70 and below as “execrable.”

SWS interviewed 1,200 adults nationwide for the survey, results of which first came out in Business World Friday.

It used sampling error margins of ±3 points for national percentages, as well as ±6 points each for Metro Manila, balance Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao.

No fixing of infastructure, poverty, internet, economy, corruption, diplomacy…just more death! The country continues to go downhill. No matter how hard Leni, Trillanes, De Lima, Obama & Hillary tried to destroy Duterte but failed miserably, meaning President Durterte is a man of high integrity and love by the majority of the Pinoy…. no doubt about it. President Duterte is a patriot and a hero.

Yes thats true because Duterte was born with his integrity and helive in a simple life what ever what he have . He hate drugs because he can see what the drugs made people lives . He dont care and he dont scared to die we Filipino people beleive in him not because of good words come out in his mouth . We beleive what he had done in davao and Mindanao . Mindanao its not as easy region . But he can control the bad people that wanted to impower all over the Region . We proud of our President now …

Let me posit that the net satisfaction numbers are actually HIGHER than SWS would dare reveal. They just cannot allow a runaway bandwagon effect in favor of the President to happen. The Yellowturds that are tied in closely with SWS and Pulse are fighting a continuing losing battle to bring down the President’s poll numbers.

I don’t think that this is just a bandwagon. The survey is linked to Oplan Tukhang.

If you’re not satisfied with Dutae, you will be classified as someone involved in drugs. Kung merong fake news eh siguradong meron din fake survey results.

Lol Martin, you dumb ass, I’m surprised you’re still alive, as far as I know only those who does illegal things are mad with the current president.

Binabasa lang ang speech . Kaya kapuri puri .

Did SWS mentioned who sponsored the survey? Just asking.
