The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has picked three Korean firms to provide consultancy work for the construction of the Panguil Bay Bridge that links Misamis Occidental and Lanao del Norte.
The DPWH confirmed the collaboration after a memorandum of agreement was signed between the agency and Yooshin Engineering Corporation, Pyunhwa Engineering Consultants Ltd., and Kyong-Ho Engineering & Architect Co. Ltd.
The three Korean firms won the bidding under the Philippine government procurement program to provide consultancy services for the Panguil Bay Bridge project.
DPWH Undersecretary Emil Sadain disclosed that under the agreement, Korean consultants shall assist the department in conceptual design, preparation of bidding documents, design review, construction supervision, and post-construction supervision starting June 2017.
