Wyeth Nutrition remains true to its commitment to world-class and responsible manufacturing by tapping the unlimited potential of renewable energy to power its plant operations.

As the first nutritional plant in the country built in 1964, Wyeth Nutrition leads the way in promoting sustainability and creating shared value through its proactive shift to renewable energy. By taking care of the environment, Wyeth Nutrition helps ensure a brighter, healthier future for tomorrow’s generation.

Aboitiz Power Corporation recently recognized Wyeth Nutrition for its efforts to preserve and protect the environment by using power from clean and renewable source to power its world-class manufacturing plant in Canlubang, Laguna.

Aboitiz Power Corp. executive vice president and chief operating officer Luiz Miguel Aboitiz presented the Cleanergy marker and certificate to Wyeth Philippines, Inc. President and General Manager Eugene B. David in a special ceremony held at Aruga Hotel, Makati City.

Wyeth Philippines, Inc.’s Canlubang Factory contracted a 5.4-megawatt (MW)power supply from AP Renewables, Inc. which sources energy from the 400-MW Tiwi-Makban geothermal power plant. Through this shift, Wyeth Nutrition optimizes its impact on the nutrition of every mother and child by lessening its impact on the environment.
