The state-run weather bureau said in its 5 a.m. weather bulletin the tropical depression was located 1,360 kilometers (km) east of Luzon. It has maximum winds of 55 km per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 70 kph.

The tropical depression is also forecast to move slowly at 20 kph.

Aside from “Marce”, the state weather bureau has spotted another tropical cyclone moving towards PAR. As of its latest weather bulletin, the tropical cyclone was spotted at 2,400 kms east of Luzon.

PAGASA further said the regions of Bicol, Mimaropa and Calabarzon will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms due to the northeast monsoon.

The regions of southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will also experience light to moderate rains and thunderstorms brought by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

Metro Manila and the remaining parts of Luzon, on the other hand, will have cloudy skies with light rains.

PAGASA also pointed out moderate to rough seas will prevail over Luzon and Eastern Visayas caused by moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast.

Other areas will have slight to moderate seas due to light to moderate winds coming from the northeast to northwest.
