Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its early morning forecast.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to south will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the east to northeast over Mindanao, Pagasa added.
Pagasa said the ridge of a High Pressure Area (HPA) has extended across Luzon and Visayas.
State weather forecaster also noted that the easterlies are affecting the eastern section of Mindanao.
The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. (Chito A. Chavez)
