Camp Santos, Bulacan — Six drug personalities were killed in this province since Wednesday in separate anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by police in Pulilan, Guiguinto, and Malolos City, it was learned yesterday.
Senior Superintendent Romeo M. Caramat Jr., acting Bulacan police director, said the one killed in the operation in Pulilan was alias “Asbok.” He and his cohort, who managed to elude arrest, were entrapped at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in Barangay Longos, Pulilan.
Caramat said Asbok allegedly pulled a gun on police operatives, forcing them to shoot him.
In Guiguinto, one of the three slain suspects was identified as alias “Bonad.” The two others who were his cohorts remained unidentified as of press time yesterday afternoon.
Supt. Orlando Castil, Guiguinto Municipal Police Station Officer-in-Charge, said Bonad and his two cohorts shot it out with police in the middle of a drug sting in Barangay Daungan before dawn last Thursday, ending in the death of the suspects.
In Malolos City, Supt. Heryl L. Bruno identified the two slain local drug suspects as alias “Randy Asban,” of legal age and a resident of Barangay San Gabriel, and an alias “Jay-jay,” of legal age, of Barangay Mojon.
Bruno said the armed suspects shot it out with police operatives after sensing they were being lured into a buy-bust operation on A. Mabini Street, Barangay Mojon, here. The suspects ended up dead.
A series of buy-bust operations in the province also resulted into the arrest of 17 suspects in the towns of towns of Angat, Baliwag, Bulakan, Plaridel, San Miguel, Plaridel, and San Rafael; and the cities of Malolos and San Jose del Monte.
