The P1.5-billion Runway Manila, the country’s first air-conditioned pedestrian bridge with moving walkways that links Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to Newport City, opens to the public in time for the start of the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit on April 26. The 220-meter long pedestrian link bridge known as  Runway Manila, financed by tycoon Andrew Tan’s conglomerate Alliance Global Group, Inc., can accommodate up to 2,000 persons at any given time.
